Loyola Polytechnic (YSRR), Pulivendla is a Christian Minority Institution primarily (30% of seats) meant for Christian students.

It is also open to others for the rest of the seats without distinction of caste, creed, or religion according to Government rules.

30% of the seats are under the minority quota, and the rest are filled by the Government based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Selection of candidates is governed by government rules.

Candidates must appear for the POLYCET entrance exam, conducted by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh.
